More Moustachioed Musings

I am so white I am even lacking the melanin to put colour in my moustache. Not totally. It is as if the printer churning out my tache ran out of colour approximately 5/6ths of the way through the job.

I often pester my partner about how it looks. In a way searching for validation that it looks terrible so I'd shave it off and save the embarrassment of parading it around in public. The tricky thing with her (also a great thing) is that she tells me I'm handsome so often it causes me to kind of not fully trust her opinion.

So when I am told the one frosted tip on my upper lip is cool and different, I can't say I am especially convinced. In fact, I feel like I may be being gaslit my her and the others who say this.

Yet here I am, having regrown it again - the pure white hairs there on the end as always. I have tried to trim the edges before by the way. Doing so just enough to hide the white effect and have it still be symmetrical. It resulted in what I liked to think as a short Attlee-esque type situation. My parents thought different. Upon seeing it, they pointed out that it leant a bit too heavily into Adolf territory. You can't exactly persevere after that kind of feedback. What would my grandad say...

For now it is in its full brown & white glory. Let's see how long it lasts this time.
